What is NLP?
NLP is Neuro Linguistic Programming.
It is the science of understanding the structure of behaviour and using that understanding to create behavioural change.

How is behaviour formed?
We normally collect information through our five senses. This information is then sent to ‘filters’ in our brain through the nervous system. The word ‘Neuro’ in Neuro Linguistic Programming represents the medium of transmission of information inside our bodies, which are the nerves.
In the filter the information is compared to the ‘beliefs’ we already carry. The comparison is done with the help of ‘internal language’ which is peculiar to us. This is the ‘Linguistic’ part. The result of this comparison may create a new belief.
This new belief will create a ‘new’ behaviour or ‘Programme’.

How can NLP be applied to sales and marketing?
NLP delivers the tools to go deep inside the mind of the customer, elicit his/her buying strategy and to covertly persuade the customer to buy, using verbal and nonverbal techniques.

How is this NLP based workshop, different from other standard sales & marketing workshops?
NLP believes that 93% of communication is nonverbal (a scientific fact) and therefore a large portion of the workshop focuses exclusively in honing the non verbal persuasion skills.
NLP believes that every customer uses his own peculiar ‘internal language’ for ‘self persuasion’ and this language can be detected through verbal and nonverbal cues.
NLP believes that once this ‘internal language’ of the customer is detected, the sales person can use the ‘same’ language to positively affect the customer’s decision.

What is the duration of the workshop?
Three days.
9.00am to 6.00pm daily with three breaks for tea/coffee & lunch.

What are the topics that the workshop covers?
DAY – 1

Theme: Prepare yourself.
The focus is on understanding the participant’s own verbal, nonverbal communication and realigning the same to generate effective persuasive skills.
As all communication by the participant is directed by the beliefs he/she carries in his/her mind, emphasis is laid to explain the importance and characteristics of the conscious and the subconscious minds.

  3. Understanding verbal and nonverbal communication.
  4. How to identify empowering and disempowering beliefs.
  5. How to reframe beliefs.
  6. How to increase personal power.
  7. How to manifest ideas.

  9. Overcome the barriers to success

DAY – 2

Theme: Gather your props
The emphasis is on learning various NLP techniques to enter into the mind of the customer by understanding his/her internal language and nonverbal cues.

  1. Understanding Mental Maps.
  2. Elements of Building Rapport.
  3. Using Effective Language Patterns.
  4. Effective Listening Techniques.
  5. Verbal Techniques that Build Trust.
  6. Reframing.
  7. Selling with Metaphors.

DAY – 3

Theme: Create Magic.
Application of learning from day 1& 2.

Topics covered.

  1. Mirroring.
  2. Unlocking your client’s Buying Strategy.
  3. Taking Advantage of Objections.
  4. Understanding your client’s Buying Signals.
  5. Closing Techniques.
  6. Closing Successfully.
  7. Creating Sales Magic – Making the most difficult sale.
